Dr. Fereshte Lalani MD, CCFP

Dr. Lalani joined the Wilson Medical Group in 2012 and is the Associate Lead Physician for the Wilson site of the Otter Creek FHO. She strives to provide informed, compassionate, patient-centered care to a varied population, ranging from newborn to geriatric. 

She completed medical school at the University of Toronto followed by her Family Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. She has a particular interest in child and adolescent health and facilitates workshops to educate her primary care colleagues on preventative health care initiatives for this population.

Dr. Lalani is an Adjunct Lecturer with the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. She enjoys teaching and regularly supervises students in her clinical practice. She is also a faculty tutor for Case Based Learning at the UofT Faculty of Medicine. 

Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with her children. She finds that this practical experience enables her to be a better physician to her young patients and their parents.
